Kiwi millennials’ organic priorities pique Japanese interest

Millennials are driving the demand for organic products in New Zealand and the Japanese are taking notice.

Japan’s Organic Report publication covered an address made by Brendan Hoare about the Gen Y organic trend when he was visiting the country in June.

Brendan was in Japan to connect with trade partners and attend key events. While there, he presented New Zealand’s latest organic market information to trade leaders in Tokyo.

There was particular interest in the consumer perceptions contained in the 2016 New Zealand Organic Market Report.
